Join paleontologists, educators, and students

in fossil-related events and activities across the country in parks, classrooms, and online during

National Fossil Day.

 

National Fossil Day is an annual celebration held to highlight the scientific and educational value of paleontology and the importance of preserving fossils for future generations.

For participants choosing ECISD Innovation Department to mail their entries for the national competition. Entries and entry forms should be sent via interoffice mail to Innovation Department C/O Mary Fulton or mailed to:

For participants choosing to mail or email their entry.

 

 

Participant entries for the National Fossil Day Art Competition (NFDAC) must provide a copy of the art work to the ECISD Innovation Department to participate in the local competition. Electronic entries will be accepted for the local competition and may be sent to mary.fulton@ectorcountyisd.org or mailed to the listed address. Make sure to include your entry form. Do not email ECISD Innovation any entries for the national competition. NFDAC is open to any interested person, of all ages. The local competition is only open to ECISD students and staff.
